​Working closely with the client, McInally Associates co-ordinated the planning application submission and arranged for a series of appropriate reports to be prepared in support of the application proposals. In this regard McInally Associates successfully promoted a case that in planning terms the garden centre use was acceptable to the countryside location. In addition, working closely with the landscape architect, a design was established that was appropriate to the countryside location on visual impact terms.
